Razer’s new product, Freyja, builds on its adventurous concepts, like the Project Hazel mask, by introducing an innovative gaming cushion with HD haptics. Billed as the first of its kind, Freyja offers a unique way to experience haptic feedback beyond traditional controllers. Designed to fit most high-backed chairs, Freyja operates with a single cable and a quick-release connection for easy setup.
The cushion has six individual haptic zones (down from the 16 in the concept version), each activating based on game or audio cues. Freyja will integrate with certain games for specific effects, and for others, it generates feedback from audio direction and intensity. Beyond gaming, it also enhances music, movies, or live-streamed concerts, offering immersive, haptic-driven experiences across media types.
